I just found my winning listserve email - a month too late. If you are reading this, it's all because someone made the decision to let you read it. Thank you, someone.
So, as Perd Hapley would say, I'm going to tell you some things as soon as I finish this sentence, which is ending now.
I work in publishing by day. When I get home, I'm a self-taught silversmith.
I'll be 39 this year and only started silversmithing last year. If you really want to learn something, just learn it. You might cry a lot. I did. After a while, they turn into happy tears.
I truly believe that a quote from The Office can be worked into every single day of my life.
Speaking of shows, you should watch Derek on Netflix. It's so good.
Speaking of music, which I was not doing, you should listen to First Aid Kit. They are sisters and they are amazing.
Read The Handmaid's Tale if you haven't already done so. Out of all the books I love, it's the one I've read the most times. I like how the cover gets softer and more tattered each time I read it.
I'm currently reading The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit by Michael Finkel. So far, I'm liking it.
Parties are kind of my nightmare.
Most times, I like old things better than new things.
Google Budgetbytes and make some of her recipes. They are easy and good. I recommend starting with the Teriyaki Meatball Bowls. The sauce is better than any bottled sauce I've ever had.
And now, I have a question for you.
Do you have a book you've read so many times, yet it never gets old? I'd love to know which one it is. You can tell me on Instagram at ponderbird. Also, if you are a maker of things, I'd love to see what you make. Tag me so I can take a look!

P.S.
Kirk and Julia- I love you. But, there's been a murder in Savannah and I'm pointing finger guns at both of you. xoxo
