Fellow Listservians…

I thought that if I ever won the Listserve lottery that I would have pages upon pages of thoughts and ideas, but the mind isn’t what it used to be.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to read everyone’s submissions. Thank you for the insight into your lives and for the quotes, book recommendations, favorite music, etc…

I don’t tell her often enough, but I am super proud of my niece. She is one of the strongest people that I have the pleasure of knowing, and she is someone that I look up to when someone tells me that I cannot accomplish something.

Don’t shut out friends and family – if you miss someone, go see them. If you haven’t talked to someone in a while, call them. Trust me, at some point it will be too late to pick up that phone or pay them a visit. I miss my parents.

Be true to who you are – it is most important to be happy with yourself than to strive to be happy in other peoples’ eyes.

Create a bucket list. If you want to do something, write it down. When you get bored, or are looking for something to do that may be a little “outside of the box” reach for that list…

Whether you see the glass as half-full or half-empty, ask the bartender for a refill…

I consider myself truly lucky to have found my Rose. She supports me and helps me be the man I am today. For that, I am forever in love with my flower.
